Odd.. yeah I have 10.12.1 PB4 on a 2013 iMac, 2012 MBP, 2010 MBA and the machine I'm on now, a 2015 rMBP and none of them as experiencing this.. I guess use Firefox for the time being! :)

huh. it IS odd. and since i have 2 macs (and one CAN get on musicgateway), both on the same OS version... i can't figure the common denominator. at least (for now), firefox works (since the 'more-troubled' mac is my primary machine). thanks again for the detailed help!

so, pretty sure this started with public beta4, but wondering who else here is seeing it? some sites are inaccessible in safari, and i get privacy warnings in chrome. others on the soundcloud forums running sierra report same issue:

for example:

https://soundcloud.com/stream

and

https://www.musicgateway.net
Lately I've come to the conclusion that Safari is a piece of crap for much the same reason. I've switched to Opera and find it be a very fast browser.

ok, but that has nothing to do with this discussion. i prefer safari, but that doesn't matter either. if you read thru the posts... the problem happens in opera as well (an impressive browser tho). safari isn't the problem (since it happens in chrome & opera as well), something else is.

For what it's worth, running 10.11.6, using both Fx 49.0.1 and Safari 9.1.3, I have no issue getting to musicgateway. For soundcloud, I'm getting the "Sorry! Something went wrong ..." message until I allow sndcld.com in my script blocker. After that, page loaded without issue.

i just installed jsblocker, then disabled blocking on soundcloud, still not working.

in general. i only have an adblocker, but had already disabled it. so you're on el cap, then not just a sierra issue with soundcloud, and not consistent overall (which confuses the hell out of me  )
[doublepost=1476471622][/doublepost]interesting! this just showed up in firefox, at the bottom of the soundcloud window:

Check the certs in your browser. For both Fx and Safari, my certs' Begins On date is Oct. 13, 2016. The problem could simply be one of browsers, and/or their versions, needing to catch-up to a reissue.

(There was a problem with a CA recently but as far as I know, it had nothing to do with Global Sign.)
[doublepost=1476474025][/doublepost]Ah, just saw your merged post regarding the Fx message. It's a cert issue.

the point is... there's no padlock (in safari and chrome) for those 2 sites, so i can't click on them to see the certificates. or... is there another way?

either way, soundcloud is aware of this, and a fix is coming. and i've let musicgateway know about that...
