Which one do you prefer and why?

For those of you who own a X already which has held up better showing or not showing scratches?

Does the stainless steel on the silver look and feel more premium?

You can actually polish the Silver Stainless Steel if you have tiny scratches, something you can't do with the other colors... that's a plus but IMO, from best to worst: Space Gray > Gold > Silver.

Actually torn between SG and Gold because the new color looks absolutely stunning.

Wanting to change things up this year since I currently have the silver x. Thinking either SG or Gold, but leaning toward SG.

I have the silver X and it’s held up wonderfully. I haven’t had to polish it yet but, it’s nice to have the option if you need to. I don’t trust coatings, there have been photos of space grey X’s that have the coating flaking off or scratches that can’t be removed.

That’s good to hear about the silver. The videos I watched said it scratched easily. I like the stainless steel look.

I have an iPhone X in Space Gray. When it scratches there’s nothing you can do. While the silver you can polished it

This is the main factor for me. This is why I’m going silver again. Although if for whatever reason I can’t get silver, I will take space grey.

I agree, space grey is bad ass but, I can’t handle the way it looks after some wear and tear. If it had the same DLC they use on the Apple Watch I’d be all over it.

I have the Space Grey, I prefer that myself because I like the dark steel, I really like that appearance

But the Silver model pops out more and looks more "professional" and premium for some reason.

Silver does scratch more easily, but the silver version can also be polished. The Space Grey device is more sturdy and withstands scratches better, but if it does scuff and scratch, you cannot polish it

Doesn’t look more durable to me..

The surgical stainless bands on the silver iPhone X is basically the same stainless steel used on the stainless Apple Watch, it does scratch easily, but if that’s a concern to you, as someone mentioned, you can use a polishing cloth to remove them or opt for the space gray model, which utilizes the PVD protective coating.

I've always gone with black backs, but last year the silver was just so awesome looking. It actually looks like a white pearl, and the SS band just looks and feels so premium. I'll be getting silver again this year, but in the Max size.

Gold, so everyone can tell you got a brand new shiny Xs :p
I'd go Silver, my X is silver and it looks more premium and pleasant to look at compared to the SG.

I have the silver X and wish I got the space grey. I’d say it depends on whether you are doing yearly upgrades or not. If it scuffs up then who cares in a year

I have an X that I’ve had since November and it doesn’t have a scratch on it. Still like brand new.
