was this from the wallet using Intelligent and screen awareness or was it apple to pull the card info from wallet? Please let us know and give us the prompt so I can add it to the wiki 🙂
Apple pulled the card from the wallet. I didn't have it pulled up to screen aware. I just prompted it "Which of my credit cards in my wallet should I use if I'm buying gas?"

same thing here, health, sleep and workout data all seem to be unavailable in this beta.

Guarantee they’re changing this ink blob design before final release

I am assuming neither of you are in the USA? For some unfathomable reason, Apple have only ever allowed Siri to answer questions regarding health in the US. I am in the UK and it doesn’t work here and never has.

Good thread. One thing I noticed is that if you have a reminder such as: Collect Inpost parcel. You can say to Siri “I’ve collected my inpost parcel” and it will checkoff the reminder.

I also created a note called “Jake’s Personal Context” where I added a list of things about me. One being “I do not drink alcohol”. I then later asked for some suggested cocktails that I would like. It successfully found that I don’t drink alcohol and replied with some non-alcoholic versions.

I think this context document could come in handy. So I am going to experiment a bit.

Super interesting you are basically creating a note with Siri memory. I will try this myself! Thanks for sharing!

Not in the list but I took a picture of a return label from a relative's package they sent to me and asked Siri to add it to their contact (since I didn't have the address saved) and it added it without issue.

Did you check if Siri pulled it from notes or if it actually got it from messages or similar where you talked with someone about it?

messed up the first time. We’ll see for the next. Asked when the next Full Moon is and gave me phases. Corrected it.

I asked Siri when was the next New Moon.
She vocally gives me the answer and displays the answer in the bubble. They say the same information but the dates are worded differently.
Vocally - Day/Month/Year
Written - Month/Day/Year (what is in settings)

Wonder what drives format?

I saw a video yesterday of someone looking at a recipe page and telling Siri to add all items (except _____) to her grocery list. It worked flawlessly.

When I try, I get a prompt first where she goes “do you want to add 5 items to your Reminders?” And I have to interact. And if I say no it’s like “ok fine I won’t add it to your grocery list”. The video one just did it seamlessly. Do I need to cha he some kind of setting??

I can verbally add items to my grocery list with ease and no need to confirm anything.

I’m hoping it has good memory so if it makes a mistake once and you correct it it doesn’t do it again. This is still a challenge with the general LLMs sometimes.

I respect it’s a beta but I’m finding much frustration with new Siri.

Randomly claiming I need to unlock my iPhone first on things I never used to.

Asking lots of intermediary “confirmation” pop ups for requests that should just be handled in one step. “Add this to my grocery list.”
“so you’d like to add some things to your reminders?”
“Ummm… no?”
“Ok I won’t add to your grocery list”

And I know the interactions are deeper, but it feels like even the most basic “old Siri” style request requires much more “it’s thinking…” time.

Im having massive issues with Siri and Apple Music on my 17 Pro on beta 3.. Siri wont play music if I ask "play music by pearl jam" or "play music by pearl jam on Apple Music" or "play black by pearl jam" it will play if I say "Siri pearl jam" which is crazy as I could be asking it to do a web search etc.

anyone else having issues with Siri and apple music?

It was far worse on DB2 but I’m still having issues. Certain songs that I request, Siri will play without hesitation. Then simple or common song it will spin then play a song that is completely different and nothing like I requested…

A bigger problem is I’ll ask Siri to text my wife “IE- Kate Smith” and it will reply “ would you like to start a new group text with the Smith group”?

I’m like …what the…I don’t even have a “smith group”.
