Just changed Siri & Search to English (Australia) from English (United Kingdom) and it works as expected!! (On my iPhone).

Edit: changed it back and still screwed and changed it to Ireland and still screwed

It’s because of the funny way you British folk speak our common language - American. I knew you would have problems when you called it “maths”.

(It gave me the correct answer-localized on American English; spoken in UK English)
