Probably the reason it is in beta. See the type of commands users make and add them later. I'm sure Apple is keeping some sort of database full of unanswered queries which hopefully will be updated to support.

Was a bit disappointed in this. She needs more interaction with 3rd party apps and better ability to pull stuff of the web.

Have you tried "search the web for the score of the ravens' game"

I don't have my 4s yet, not till november, but as far as what i've seen, this would be a very logical request and something siri can preform.

I know thats what i would do since i don't have any sports apps i usually just google "saint louis cardinals score"

Indeed, I'm surprised no one else actually addressed the OP's complaint. It's not ideal (since Siri won't read it back to you, and there may be a slightly longer delay), but all the OP had to do is say: "Google Baltimore Ravens." The first item returned by Google is the current score of whatever game the Ravens are playing (or final score of the game they played last).

I've got NFL '11. Which is what I expected Siri to answer with. Or at least I wanted her usual "I don't understand. Do you want to do a web searc?" I understand it's early and still in Beta. I just figured that since I had multiple sports apps she could figure it out? Plus it was the first thing she denied me.

I think Apple really set our expectations way too high during the keynote. There are many basic commands, like "direct me home", that Siri doesn't understand. I guess Siri really is still in beta. Apple should have been more transparent about its many basic shortcomings.

Saying "Give me directions home" or "Give me directions to my house" will both work. You just need a Contact entry for yourself with the Home address field filled in.

Siri can't access non-native apps at this time.

Siri does not understand your obsession with sports, especially when you've yet to fix that broken tile in the bathroom. Also, when was the last time you took Siri out for a nice dinner?

who speaks like that? i would give you a blank sure too. Sure, there's plenty of stuff that Siri doesn't understand but this is a stretch.

oh ..... you mean like looking up the location and getting the phone number for it?

You make that sound so simple.

If it's a business in a sizable space and a single-story building, perhaps.

But what if you're in a building with several floors? How would it know which suite you were in? What if you're in a residence? What system should it reference to get you a number?

The point is, what would be the situation where you would ever need to ask the question, "tell me the phone number for my location" (especially if you're home, as was the case in his example)? And even if you're not home, why would you ask Siri to look up the phone number, instead of asking the homeowner? And if you're at a business, why would you need the phone number if you're *already there*?

The point being that the developers didn't (and shouldn't have) put a lot of effort into getting Siri to understand uncommon requests.

I assume a lot of apps will update to work with her in the future. When I asked her to whatsapp someone today, she told me she couldn't go that. She also can't tweet!

Ahh, but she can tweet. Go to Twitter.com and set up your mobile device. Then add Twitter to your contacts as 40404. Then all you say is "Text Twitter (with your message). It works quite well.

best thing

Best thing to do is to just say "search the web for ravens football", if you have google setup as the default search engine, the store will be listed right at the top of the spawned safari page.

Last night, I asked Siri: 'What is the score of the monday night football game' ...she didnt know but offered to google it which had the ESPN link at the top to the current live scoring.
