Siri wont download accents since updating to 12.1.1

im not sure but I know the Server side fix worked for me I could download the Irish accent and choose between male and female

I keep going back to the accents and have been for a couple of months now and still can’t get anything other than American or Australian. It’s strange to see Apple still haven’t fixed this??

It’s been stuck downloading either British or Irish indefinitely. I Haven’t seen a suggested fix that works yet, anybody else here still got this issue or is it just me and those on Google searches?

I don't know apple rolled out a server side fix for this try leaving your devices plugged in for a while and then try.

I have read all the previous post and tried the tips but apple has still not fixed this . And I don’t know what else to do

They haven’t fixed it no. Mines been stuck downloading since December.

well mine was fixed from the server side fix I just plugged it in and like magic it was fine. if you do a reset/restore to factory settings this also fixes the issue probably not worth it though
