Can you tell us which route did you go (service)?

Thank you, I was about to start a thread asking the same question.

I believe his (very nice) site is on Squarespace.

BTW, another popular one is Zenfolio.

I seem to recall that Zenfolio still doesn't have geotagging support, while Squarespace does, and can embed maps. Might be a critical factor depending on your needs.

Zenfolio looks really nice, but I'm not ready to pay 20 dollars per month.

Maybe I'll start with Squarespace for now. Thank you!
