iPhone Sky Go app not longer working on jailbroken phones

Keep 2.1.5 (or if you updated, delete the new version from your device and reinstall 2.1.5 from syncing with iTunes), then, use iFiles on your device to change version number from 2.1.5 to 2.2.0 ;)

This will keep you going till the next xCon update :)

Yeah thought of that but it didn't work :(
 
Strange! :eek: It is working perfectly for me!!

You haven't removed or reverted xCon to an older version have you :confused:

To add, the above fix allows you to continue using the previous "Sky Go" version (2.1.5) as it was, without the notification to upgrade and visit the app store ...

You still need xCon to make it appear as if your device is not jailbroken!! ;)

Ahh I must have made a typo or something the first time. Tried it again and it's working. Ta! :)
 
Please help :( i updated the app to 2.2.0 deleted it then reinstalled 2.1.5 changed version number installed xcon but the appstore still sees it as 2.15 and when i run it the wants me to connect to the appstore to update??? i take it the file i need to edit is ttunesmetadata.plist?

You need to edit the info.plist file - it's inside the SkyGo.app folder.

Hi, thanks so much for this help. do you know where I can download 2.1.5 as I cant find it anywhere :(

Hi folks got cydia installed on I phone and installed xcon to over ride sky go but since updating sky go app xcon doesn't work now and all I'm gettin is "not compatible on jb devices" any ideas how to bypass this
 
How to Get Sky Go working on Jailbroken iphone 5 ios 6+

Sky Go Not Working on Jailbroken iphone??

Well this is how to get Sky Go Working on Jailbroken iPhone 4 or 5 with any IOS 6+

First of all remove your Sky Go App already installed then follow these instructions:

1. Download Xcon 38 Beta 1 - Zippyshare.com - Xcon 38 Beta.zip

2. Add repo.hackyouriphone.org/ to Sources on Cydia and load Xcon Alias 33

3. Load AppSync on Cydia

4. Download old Sky Go Files and Unzip to any folder - Zippyshare.com - skygo.zip

5. Download ifunbox from their website and Click on Install App - Search for Sky Go downloaded folder

6. Voila! Sky Go will appear on your iphone. Log in using your Sky account details

Anytime+ wont work for some reason, but hey you got Sky Go working!

NB: Do this all at your own discretion. I can not be held liable for anything that goes wrong! (Not that it should)
