Hi everybody,

I am playing with my late 2009 MBP in boot camp. Dual Core 2.53, 9600GT with 512 VRAM and 4Gb Ram.

Running really good with Mid Setting, 1280*800 res and Object and Actor View Distance set to high.

AA and AF = 0

The only problem i got is the temperature. First i played with native resolution and AA turned on. It reached the 105 degrees mark and did the auto shut down.

Now i optimized this and using a tool to force the cooler to run on max all the time.

Having about 80-88 degrees atm and game works really well and looks bad ass ;)

I have almost the exact same config. I was nervous at first, but went for it and it runs pretty smooth!

Mid 2010 MBP

Processor: 2.66Ghz i7
Memory: 4GB 1067 DDR3
Graphics: GT 330M 512 MB

any possibility i could run it smooth at high settings? got it for PS3 and the 60hour + slowdown has destroyed my experience. Very hesitant to spend the money again if i will have the the same slowdowns due to my comp.

I cannot understand why people faff around trying to get games to limp along on machines not designed for gaming. A second hand ps3 or 360 can be found for a pittance nowadays, and you can sit in comfort on a settee in front of a large TV, rather than peering at a notebook screen.

I'm guessing you will be at least ok...I'm running it at Medium with my Mac Mini 2010 (Nvidia 320m 256MB shared) and getting about 20+ fps (1600x900), (using FRAPS).

I'm also running it on my MacBook Air (2009 version, 9400m graphics) at about 15fps (ranging from 10-20 or so, 900 x 6something). Choppy at times, but still playable.

Actually, I find it much more immersive using a laptop screen. And, I don't have to pay $$$ to Fony or M$.

Fair enough chief. Good point, didn't think of that.

Mods and mouse. On my late 2009 MBP it looks much better then on a ps3.
There are even few other reasons...

Its pretty simple for me. Portability.

I own a ps3 and 360, however Im not lugging my 42 or 50 inch tv with me anywhere. Playin Skyrim while taking a dump>>>>

and def the mods. I wont lie, Ive been cheating my butt off with the console commands. I have 3 other characters on my 360 I play legitly on expert. I mainly just mess around with slyrim on the laptop between the mods and the console commands, its a lot of fun, nothing serious

Does This Work

I have a Macbook pro 13.3 inch
2.26Ghz 8gb ram
NVIDIA GeoForce 9400M 256 MB
running on cider port

Would it work on this well?

Thanks, Matt

I was able to run it ok on low settings on my mini 2009.

It runs absolutely flawlessly fluid on my iMac 24" with 4850 on Ultra High settings with AA turned off. In its native resolution, of course.

Anyone playing it on a top of the line 6770m i7 21.5" imac in bootcamp?

I'm hoping the answer is "native resolution, AA turned off, ultra settings, hi-res texture pack, 30+ fps?"
