I'm glad I DL'd both of these 1 cent programs at 1:00 this morning...I had a feeling they were going to be overwhelmed by 6:00am...

I'm glad I did the 1am(E) download to get the Voyager software. Somehow I missed getting stuck in the middle of all of this with SkyGazer download at 10:30. Got the registration email. Got the download. No problem.

I'm sorry the execution on this was a bit of an experience for many.

Well, CLEARLY Carina Soft got what they were looking for (and more) with this promotion (lots and lots and lots of site traffic)...
I think they were surprised how many people have an interest in astronomy (or maybe a mix of bargain hunters and astronomy buffs)...
I bet this story will have some legs on the tech blogs and podcasts later this week...
The power of the interwebs...LOL

As a follow-up, the guys at Carina Software are a class act. They sent me the registration for SkyGazer even though they didn't have to. That was unbelievably nice of them do to that!

Very nice people. They called me to tell me that my link will be on it's way shortly and apologized for any inconvenience. Very nice woman.

I've just been told both via phone call and via emailing support that they can't honor the promotion anymore.

Great luck for all those who got codes before BlueHost.com shut them down.
