Sleep issues

hi all. I upgraded to sonoma and laptop would go into deep sleep. no externals screens etc. I had no issues with sleep on Ventura.

I decided to create a separate volume and reinstall Ventura on that. Problem is that clean install, my MacBook doesn’t sleep as it did before. Goes into standby I know it’s not deep sleeping by the various logs and battery bars in settings showing no gaps.

any Words of wisdom? Odd that a clean install of Ventura doesn’t behave as it should.

At least it worked for you back in Ventura… a clean install and doesn’t behave as it should. Very odd

interesting I now got my Mac sleeping again in Ventura. odd re it sleeps as maintenance sleep. I thought Mac had more sleep states.
