The comment about LEM at first kinda of offended me as I am still a regular reader of their site.

The Mac specifications listings, in the past, have been littered with errors. I've contacted the publisher numerous times. IMO, there have been numerous articles posted with elementary school-level writing. Sometimes, there are things talked about (in the previous post, for example) that illustrate the writer's questionable knowledge on a subject. Some things are flat-out wrong. None of this is indicative of a good resource. In fact, Low End Mac, in my opinion, is one of the worst Mac-related sites out there. Perhaps it's gotten better, but on the few occasions I've visited lately, there's always something that make me depressed.

But I will admit, there are some good things available there.

ive been using this widget for a while now, it works wonders!!! it helps to save battery life. i used it at night time when i didnt want to waste the 5-10% battery life that got drained from ram overnight.. and in between computer classes it also helps to safe a good 10-15% per day.. that comes in very handy. it also ensures that the computer is asleep and there is only one way to wake it up and no other buttons can wake it up accidentally.

Same here for Deep Sleep/Hibernate. I don't really see a point to leaving my laptop on overnight even though it is plugged in, because it's basically a waste of power. It's not much, but I find is easier to sleep during the day when I use it a lot, and then Hibernate it at night when I go to bed. My laptop wakes from Hibernate in about 20 secs so it isn't really that long of a time
