Is it possible to return a graphics card (apparently opened package and used) if you've bought it from a retail store?

Another question is, where to get active Single Link miniDP to DVI adapters in the UK.

I'm thinking of picking up a 5770 and test it cause I don't see this problem to be changed in the near future.

I'm looking forward to your result in portrait mode, although I'm almost certain that there won't be a problem with both 10.6.4 and .5.

Yep, it was fine. I forgot to try in 10.6.4, but I did update and portrait performance was fine in 10.6.5.

Would be nice if someone with a triple screen (portrait) setup could confirm it running with 10.6.5, though. If this runs, I will definitely go for one of the new cards. The only problem I've got is getting two active single link DVI adapters. Can't find them here in the UK.

I just installed Lion on another drive and thank god, it has been fixed!

Seems I get away without buying a new graphics card after all. Just another 3 more months till the final release of Lion.
