Yeah I got lucky when I woke up at 4:30am to go to the bathroom. I've been trained to refresh the best buy page every 5 minutes the past week haha. I had to cancel my apple and staples order. Looks like the pencils are still available though.

The pencils have been popping up more frequently on BestBuy than the keyboards. I managed to snag a pencil Monday, but have yet to catch a keyboard.

Looks like Best Buy pencils are finally sold out of line. The keyboards are sold out online for Staples. Lucky I was able to snag a keyboard this morning at 6am cst. Ordered 3 for Monday delivery. Also one yesterday from staples Del on the 30th too. So all in all 3 pencils and 4 keyboards all coming Monday the latest!! Good luck all

Think you just missed the keyboards. Got 3 and hour later then you

I have been very happy with Best Buy for this Apple launch. I never thought I would actually end up getting my iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, and the Apple Keyboard (arriving on Friday). I even picked up a sleeve for everything until I can select a permanent bag.

I am looking forward to Friday as the Create keyboard makes the system comparable to my 13" rMBP. At that point it defeats the purpose.

It's fairly slim and surprisingly light. iPad Pro + Silicone Case + Smart Keyboard feels really light compared to Logitech's.

That is what put me off of the Logitech. It seemed way thicker than version for Pad Air2. Getting it in and out of the case looked to be more than I wanted to deal with.

I tried the Logitech one at Apple Store. Its plastic enclosure feels cheap and absurbly heavy. And the case was too tight on iPad and had hard time removing from it. I would never want to try that again.

Well I'm checking and re-checking my Best Buy progress bar. If I get this, for pickup in store Saturday, I will feel like I'm in the "Miracle on 34th Street" movie:rolleyes:

There's a serious shortage of the keyboard. The pencil was/is trickling into stores. But the keyboard is scarce. It's pretty clear to me Apple just makes these in line with demand.....after the fact. Considering the difference between the pen and keyboard.

This is perfectly ok, EXCEPT, that it doesn't appear they even have any kind of retail strategy in place for this 'make on demand' BS.

A shabby show.
