+1

Now only if someone would leak it onto the nets.

@mikelcroft Nice work. Now if one someone had the 1920×1200 or higher version.

here is the proper one http://GFOnyx.deviantart.com/art/Snow-Leopard-WWDC-09-Wallpaper-125312317 "Everything else is just plain BS.

This is the default and Official (unlike others) Snow Leopard Wallpaper from the WWDC 09 taken straight from the Build itself.

The Build is 10A380 which is near the final (gold) release and this is going to be the default wallpaper on the final Snow leopard Release.

HD Resolution: 2560x1600

Enjoy..."

You see that lighter line that goes from the right to centre ish, that's where it's been screen grabbed, that is NOT the official wallpaper, the official one has already been posted, that one has just been blown up to a large size...

Anyway, for anyone really desperate, I colourised the original to make the server version, should do for now.

Thanks

I just took some of the red channel out of the default wallpaper that User4114 gave us to get it to look a bit like the server version. It's not perfect though..

Thanks for the higher res image. I looks great.

I asked the same thing one page back -- what is the source of the picture of the actual SNOW LEOPARD (big cat) wallpaper?

http://media.photobucket.com/image/snow leopard wallpaper/tsmith62x3/Snow_Leopard.jpg

Note: this is NOT the exact image. It is just another leopard in snow.

I asked someone that has the WWDC Snow Leopard, and got this:

Ah, that one they got from Corbis as they do with all of their pretty photos.

*if* I'm not mistaken, its from this photo shoot: http://pro.corbis.com/imagegroups/imagegroups.aspx?typ=2&id=1246749&ri=42-16423755

But it seems like that specific image isn't available atm, Apple probably just bought it outright.

The image is from Corbis website. I am a registered member. It costs $155.00. If I can get a bunch of people to send me $5 via PayPal, I will buy it and share. Do not send any money up front, simply send me an e-mail saying you would send $5. If I get enough people, then I will send out another e-mail and provide PayPal info.

Does that sound reasonable?

Here is the link: http://pro.corbis.com/Enlargement/Enlargement.aspx?id=42-16669988&caller=search

It is, actually.

EDIT: My bad. No, it's not. I compared them (skewed the Corbis photo to more or less match the angle of Apple's photo; see below), and while they're awfully close, they are indeed not the same pictures. But look at the snow patches on the animal; the two photos definitely are from the same shoot and must have been taken only seconds after one another.

---------- General Response ----------

Not to sound rude, but isn't it a little obsessive to want that exact picture of a snow leopard just because it was briefly shown during the Apple keynote? I've seen much nicer snow leopard wallpapers.

I'm just saying...
