So glad I got the 3G iPad, much stronger antenna than my iPhone

With the announcement that Starbucks was going to offer free Wi-Fi to every user, it makes me extra glad I didn't fork over the extra $$$ for the 3G model.

Well, as I was stuck in traffic for 45 minutes today, on a motorway, with the nearest starbucks 40 miles away, I was glad for the 3G model that allowed me to look at the traffic news, do a bit of e-mail, remotely set my PVR to record the World Cup match I was likely to miss the start of... Do a bit of browsing.. I could have even ordered a pizza but thankfully the road started to move..

IPad so much stronger 3G at work than the Iphone. I changed the iphone data plan to 15 bucks and the IPad is now my only unlimited 3g.
