Not upgrading for the first time ever, and just wanting to live vicariously through others. ;-p

Wondering what you’re loving/not loving about your 16 model (whichever one).

I have to say the regular line had me so tempted with the great colors, and finally getting macro camera. I love my pro max, but would also love having a smaller, lighter phone again. But I decided to get on the every other year cycle with the phone and watch, and this year was the watch’s turn, so I’m just enjoying everyone else’s experiences.

Man that teal is GORGEOUS!! At least it looks it in the photos. That’s the color that made me wish I was upgrading. ;-p
It’s stunning. Goes perfectly with my vibes as teal is my favorite color.

Enjoying it so far. This is actually the earliest I’ve ever upgraded, 14 Pro -> 16 Pro Max. Just couldn’t do another year on a small phone. Before the 14 Pro I was using a XR. It’s just another iPhone I’ll keep for a few years.

Decided to go full nude with no case and screen protector and it’s only elevated the experience for me but that may be coming to an end soon due to accidental touches mostly on the edges. Maybe my hands are just too big, been looking at the Caudabe cases.

I didnt like the Desert Titanium. I picked it up as soon as the Apple Store opened on release day so there was't many reddit warnings about that particular color. Later that evening there was alot of comments and now even some YouTube videos. The phone looks pink. I thought it was just me at first. It doesnt look bad on camera but in person it looks different. My first coworker I showed the phone to said it looked feminine which was my exact thoughts. I was hoping he didnt confirm what was in my head lol. Perfect for the ladies though because it is a beautiful color but not what most expected.

I have seen alot of ladies say they didn't expect the pink but they love it! So it works out in that way.

honestly, disappointed in the weight going from the 15 Pro to the 16 Pro. it's now heavier than my Samsung Note 20 Ultra; thought Apple had it right last year. Guess it's the slightly larger screen and new capacitive button (and battery maybe???). :(

PS. only got this because it's an indirect way to get the spouse to upgrade from her 13 Pro to my old 15 Pro.

Desert Titanium? No joke. It’s def not for dudes.

Wait. Actually it is.

‘Cause it’s less spend-y than buying your girl that Van Cleef pendant.

“Here babe. I bought you something nice…”

Very happy with mine. New metal finish diminishes fingerprints, the white back is brighter white. It's nice to have a button for the camera - might inspire me to use it more.

Hmmn, it didn't look pink at all in the photos. I'll have to see it in person.

I didn’t think it looked pink when I saw it in person. But at the end of the day, get what you want. :)

I've got mixed feelings.

It's always exciting using a shiny new phone and the extra power/battery is appreieted.

But im not completly sold on this new camera button. 90% of the cases made for this new model have a cut out where the button is located - being right handed, this is where my palm would normally rest. This makes it slightly less comfortable to hold than previous generation.

Also the zoom in/out feature doesn't feel as natural as just pinching the screen. My guess is this button wont last 3-4 years before Apple get rid of it.

Happy with my 16P. I like the action button and the potential emergency call facility. The battery life is much improved too other than that t's not much different to my 13PM.

Absolutely over the moon with my 16+ Teal. It’s gorgeous. Feels much nicer in hand compared to my previous 13 Pro.

I’m loving my new iPhone 16 Pro Max coming from an iPhone 14 Pro Max. The colour is awesome, love the desert titanium and how the phone feels in hand. The phone is so smooth in the animations and so fast.

I'm enjoying my 16 Pro coming from the 14 Pro. I like the Desert Titanium, it's no Deep Purple, but the 16 feels better in my hand caseless than the 14 did. Now I just need to get a screen protector that doesn't lift up on one edge.

16PM here too. Yeah, a case definitely solves your accidental touch issues.
