Yes, I totally meant this as a joke, I'm glad enough people got it, I was worried at first. And I know it ain't the funniest, and I still don't like the "noise" bit, but since the G3 doesn't have the Core Duo's predisposition for song, not much I could do there.

I got my Powerbook G3 Lombard last night, and let me tell you this thing is rife with problems, so I'm just gonna vent.

I wouldn't complain. Apple and the rest of the world kind of expects people to buy new computers (at the latest) every six years. Do you want to see what PC laptops were like 6 years ago?

I think because I started this thread before the Mac Hardware section was split up into the different areas. I think this got stuck in Powermac back then.

Uh... nice to see this thread again... 8 months later. Hilariously enough, I do now own a MacBook. And it doesn't "moo'' or "baa".
