Well, it did take Apple 3 years to figure out folders. 4 years to figure out a Notification Center. I would say Windows Phone is doing okay by that timeframe comparison.
I only wish that the folder opened up in an icon mode instead of a list...the list provides a small touch point when I would prefer something larger to hit. And I think it would look more in line with the ui if it were icons.
I don't know if it will do this or not in the Black update. Right now this is how this app does it, but that's because it is an app and not an integrated feature.

One thing I will never forgive apple for is that it took them until iOS 4 to introduce background wallpapers. The fact that I had to actually jailbreak my device to get a wallpaper on my homescreen was ridiculous.

Yep, I know. I jail broke my Mini when I got it, but it was just to unstable and put it back to stock. It is perfectly stable again.
I wish I could do simple things in iOS that you can do in Android like put icons where you want on the screen, use diff themes, change the keyboard layout, set default apps. None of these things would disrupt Apples control and would make using their products so much better.
All the excitement about folders and not many people have used it to point this out.
Even with the Black update (I'm running it on a 925), it's still pretty clunky. You tap to open a folder, get a 'loading...' screen, then your list of apps pops up.
Much less streamlined than either iOS or Android, where you tap your folder, and the nested apps inside it are shown immediately. Kind of a minor disappointment, but at least I'm more organized!
