I updraded 18x in the past 3 years I had the Note, S3 and two Note 2's.

Of course I will upgrade to the S4 even though I'm disappointed that Samsung gave us a S3s. I'm sick of this look but I'm a wh*re. LOL

Sold my other Note 2 for BlackBerry Z10, hated it and sold it for hTc's upcoming One. :) I already put my Note 2 up on kijiji.

LOL ...... 18x in 3 years makes you a huge wh*re.

I too was a bit surprised at the lack of design change. I expected at least a capacitive home button to match the back and menu capacitive buttons.

But it is smart too keep the S4 as similar looking as possible. Most people shop by looks and familiarity. They don't want to lose sales cause consumers are not familiar with it.

I always wait until summer to see what iOS and Android new versions bring.

So I may get the next Nexus. SGS3 is still top notch and overkill.

X phone, next nexus may be.

All google really needs to do is put a respectable modern camera sensor, optimize hard for battery life, allow a 32gb size, and I don't have a care about the rest of the OEM phones.

I hate how they are tied by their own OEMs. This the worst part of android for me.

I thought about doing the same, but I feel the Note 3 will probably be too big for me. At the moment, anything bigger than the Note 2 is just too much for me.

If they can get a bigger screen in the same package I'm in. However I'm hoping the US S4 gets the 8core Octa then I'd reconsider.

It's the benchmarks that impress me least. I expected more.

The benchmarks of the Exynos just aren't that great sadly.

I mean 8,000 on Quadrant ? bout the same as the Xperia Z at best.

Compared to

12,000 on the HTC one.

However........

Which is a lot better results... 11,000+ on quadrant......

I'm wondering if the difference is down to Exynos v Qualcomm ???? There has to be some reason for the discrepancies.

Actually spotted it the better result is from the Snapdragon version. In Antutu under the results it says 1890 MHz (x4)

So there you go. 8,000+ for the Exynos 11,000+ for the Snapdragon 600 variant.

Aside from email and web browsing I don't use much else on the web on my phone. The 6mbps I'm getting now is plenty fast for my uses and don't miss LTE at all. Its on the iPhone 5 here and while its nice I don't really need it.

Probably not the best time for this argument as I prepare to stream the Big East Tournament over my LTE connection in NYC. If I were using an HSPA+ only device, I'd be SOL.

Considering I've had my SGS3 for only 8 months and I still really like my SGS3, I have no incentive to upgrade. There are some features of the SGS4 that I would say are nice to have, but not necessary by any means.

When you're at work during the big east tournament (and ncaa tournament) then there is no other option. Unless you're unemployed of course.

I'm not unemployed but if I'm at work; chances are I'm working and not watching basketball on my phone. I can catch the scores when I get home if I even care enough to do so.

I feel like Qualcomm has more experience building quality CPUs. And it is beginning to show.
