Just like you speak for everyone who thinks extremely light is better. At least I know with Nokia quality control issues will be at a minimum and I wont have to exchange 5 phones just to end up with one thats acceptable. Im sorry you have midget hands, but by the syntax of your reply I can only assume I am not speaking to a grown up.

Windows Phone itself, not specifically the 920. Sorry if that was confusing.

Yeah I had to open 3 iphones before I found one that wasnt scratched, I know others got good ones on the first try but a large number didn't, and like I said, after about 2 weeks I had little scratches all over it, and I babied the thing, the iphone 5 just left a bad impression on me

How people find that acceptable is beyond me. I will always take durability over form, and for something thats supposed to be premium have more issues than other top of the line smartphones and yet still be defended so vehemently...some things I will never understand.

I will not debate someone who obviously has not matured enough to have an intelligent conversation. You say its too big and heavy when you have a Note? Have you even held the Lumia? Kids these days...

Note> lumia! I dont think my note is heavier than my 900 and sure is slimmer!

seriously now your just making a fool of yourself, just stop it

Y brah? Note is in a different category of smartphone this is why people call it a phablet right? Last time I check a lumia is in the same category as an iphone! So compare to an iphone or in the same category that thing is just huge and heavy!

Well overseas might somewhat explain it, but you have the grammar of a 15 year old cheerleader so it sure doesnt make you look like an adult.

I can respect that, some people may think its too big. But I think it is a minority, not the majority of people. If you grew up with 80 and 90s cell phones or even like slider feature phones the weight is not an issue. That and the curved nature of the phone makes it rest in the palm easier anyway.

Why are people hating on other phones? I personally think the iPhone 5 is one of the best smart phones ever made, but I like the Lumia 920 even more. Doesn't mean we should immediately hate any other phone. That's why we have the choice to choose our own. No phone is perfect for everyone

Thank you for some reason haha. I only defend WP8 because I think it gets a lot of irrational hate for no reason, especially because I know 90% of the people who bash it have never played around with one. The iPhone 5 is a great phone, no doubt, but Ive had plenty of time with iOS and I just dont think its the best experience out there for me anymore.

Whatever happened to giving kids phones when they graduated high school? No reason you should have a phone when youre 10 years old.

To each his own I guess, I equate weight with quality. I like knowing my phone is in my pocket. And with all the stuff the 920 packs it makes me feel like its a well crafted phone that is maximizing its potential. Thin and light is nice to an extent, but for a phone that I hardly ever hold up to talk weight just isnt an issue.

Until the app problem gets solved, I could never even consider an OS outside of iOS or Android. Sure, Windows Phone has over 100,000 apps now, but most have been abandoned, never ported to Windows Phone in the first place, or are just nowhere near as polished as their iOS and Android counterparts. Examples: no Instagram, Jack'd, Prismatic, official Tumblr app, Fahrenheit, Letterpress, Etsy, or a proper Google Voice app. It's kind of sad really just how anemic the app selection on Windows Phone is. And for that reason alone I wouldn't even think about purchasing a Lumia 920.

It's good to hear that it isn't this monstrously heavy behemoth like the reviews have made it seem though. And I'm glad you're enjoying your new phone :)

Yeah, i mean if reviewers knocked off a little bit for the size it would be one thing, but some are making it into a huge deal when its merely a preference thing with the majority of users. How you can give something 3 stars when you praise everything else about it just over dimensions is a little ridiculous. But then again Im talking about trash sites like Gizmodo and Engadget so I shouldnt care too much.

As far as apps, yes, if its important to you and theres certain apps you absolutely need be it for work or whatever then I wouldnt advise it now. But for ~90% of people I think theres enough apps to where they would be able to survive just fine.

Well it was time for a change, I have had every iphone since launch and I am a huge apple fan but the updates just weren't doing it for me anymore. I bought a red lumia and WOW, just WOW. Nokia has made one hell of a phone, built in wireless charging, NFC, 32GB, amazing big screen, incredible camera, all for an off contract price of 449!!! Amazing. First off I keep reading in some reviews that the phone is too heavy, thats just plain inaccurate, maybe compared to the featherweight iPhone 5 its a little heavy but by no means is it anywhere near as heavy as reviews are trying to make it out to be. The build quality is fantastic, the nice curved screen glass sits flush with the body of the phone. I got the glossy red color and was surprised that its not slippery at all, and surprisingly it doesn't attract fingerprints as much as I though it would. I couldnt be happier.

Good for you. I am an Apple fan, but I think everybody should own both an iPhone and an Android phone, and stick with what they enjoy the most. People who hate what they haven't tried are kind of dumb.

For me, I went from an iPhone, to an Android phone, then back to iPhone.

But I definitely would take the chance at owning an S3. Or the next iteration.

This is a windows phone, not Android or an iPhone. Think they should try all 3 honestly, each has its pros and cons. And If you owned like a gingerbread android I can see why you went back to iPhone, Android two years ago is nowhere near what it is now. Sure the S4 is going to be a beast of a phone.
