Honestly if you were getting bored with the iphone .. why didnt you jailbreak?
jailbreaking your iphone is like having a whole new iphone with MANY more features and better apps than the NEXUS ONE.. its cool your happy .. but i wish more people would try jailbreaking.. might fix any issues you have functionality wise ..
I am a former J/B'er (now on 3.1.3). What I learned about J/B is that the experience is not the same for all that apply it. I had to restore to factory since I was having terrible battery problems with something on the jb and didn't want to go thru the detective process of installing one by one to identify the problem. Now that I am factory, my battery issues are gone.
As for the experience, there were things that I was able to run properly (like weather on LockInfo), that some of my friends weren't able to get working, regardless of them posting on forums and setting up their devices the same way I did. I have seen this on many occasions with many different apps.
When I was j/b, I did love sbSettings,Backgrounder (which I only used for my audio apps), and infindock. I had a ton of other apps also but those were the ones I miss today. Now that SlingPlayer works over 3g, I have no need for 3G enabler.
Jailbreaking is not for everyone and the experience is certainly not consistant for all iPhone owners. Hopefully, OS 4.0 brings some nice goodies along with it to make jailbreaking less of a need. Although I do thing that no matter what Apple offers, there will be those who will choose to j/b.
