Thanks. The problem is, the GPU in the new minis is (much) better, than in the old ones. Or is it maybe better to wait until, I don't know ... next year, until Broadwell comes out and the Mac minis get a refresh with better intel GPU?

If you have the 2011/2012 Mac mini quadcore or any Mac equivalent, I say wait for Broadwell or better yet Skylake.

But if you need it now like I do, no point waiting. Who knows they might delay for another 2 years again?
 
I just went to the Apple Store (Germany) (that is: physical store, not online) and they still have an old 2012 base model, that they sell for the same price as the 2014 base model.

Do you think its a better buy to get the 2012 base model, rather then the one which just came out, if its for the same price?
