I’m curious. If I were to wear my sport bands on the top hole, would a size 1 fit snugly or is it loose? my wrist is about 5” as well and I’ve been hesitant to try one.. guess i could always return it

It’s not snug on me for sure. I think the best would be to try it and then return if necessary like you said.
