I'd be careful with Aurora Feint if I were you. The latest update does something with the iPhones memory. You have already probably gotten low memory warnings haven't you?
I'd delete that crap if I were you.
Not true...mine is fine and has no memory problems. It works, backs up and does not cause any issues. Must be something with your iPhone or system.
Sorry
Keep playing it, then report back
Play it everyday for at least 2 hours...no problems on my original iPhone
Sorry
I'm not the only one it is happening to. We'll just wait and see if anyone else reports the same here.
How much free space do you have on your phone. I have 2.5 gigs, got the low memory warning while playing right after the update. Nothing wrong with my phone. Deleted app....no more warnings.
Hey Bear...After someone says there is a problem with anything iPhone related that pertains to me, I start doing some testing.
First, I will note that I did not have a memory problem as you stated and that is why I replied.
These are the results of my test:
Before Sync w/AF on iPhone...iTunes= 973.7mb remaining (have 8gig)
iPhone=973 mb remaining
Uninstalled from iPhone...iTunes=1001 mb remaining
iPhone=1000 mb remaining
Reinstalled to iPhone...iTunes=971.5 mb remaining
iPhone=971 mb remaining
Size of Aurora Faint=24.1 mb
There is a little discrepancy here from 1-4 mb but that could be anything during the sync not necessarily a problem in stealing space with the game, there maybe a small amount of memory leak, not sure.
However, with the testing, their is definitely a problem. The game would not uninstall at all, I had to delete it from the iPhone. It then re-installed fine. I then decided to uninstall again and it would not for the second time. So I deleted it again and then re-downloaded from App Store. Now it will not install period. They definitely have some bugs and there may be a small amount of memory leak, that may be more so on yours.
Just thought I would let you know and say you may have something, but now I don't have Aurora Faint cause it won't reload.
While iam not 100% sure on this, the "Low Memory" warnings that Aurora Feint gives out have nothing to do with actual storage capacity on your iPhone's flash memory...iam pretty sure it's referring to the amount of RAM free on your phone, as AF takes up a huge amount of resources to run, and most likely the game has a small memory leak that needs to be addressed. If you keep playing after the warnings, it's possible that the game will continue to run fine for 1-2 hours+, or crash within the next 15 minutes...at least from my experience.
The only remedy for this is to restart your iphone and then play AF fresh, at least until this issue gets resolved. It is a software/game issue, not a phone one.
SFC,
Your not testing your phone again are you?
