alot of people on a lot of threads are getting this message that pops up about memory being low. It is popping for other apps in addition to AF, this included Teleport for me today. Shouldn't it be confined to just your app and not all apps?
My guess is that other developers are also displaying notifications. The SDK makes it very easy to detect and respond to low memory conditions. Displaying a standard alert with some text is very straightforward. So, to reiterate, while you may see similar dialog boxes displayed they are in no way related. Different app. Different code. Same idea.

Just thought I would check, do you have any more updates at apple for approval or are we using this one for awhile?
I am actively working on a release with a few specific bug fixes. I expect to submit to apple before Thursday. It should be live late this week or early next. I do not anticipate any major fixes for memory issues to go in though. However, I will be removing that notification pop-up. It seems to be causing more confusion than anything.

Again, great to know that you are involved and keeping us informed, I really miss the game today.
I'd like to figure out what problem you're having specifically though. If you want to contact me directly again via PM on the AF forums, I will work with you to get AF running.

I'd be careful with Aurora Feint if I were you. The latest update does something with the iPhones memory. You have already probably gotten low memory warnings haven't you?

I'd delete that crap if I were you.

yea i have about 6 gigs free but when i updated it it said warrning low disk space or something along the lines of that

Actually Jason, I am afraid to reinstall it after it would not uninstall x2 then install x1. I had to do a complete Restore which almost bricked my phone and eventually had to go into DFU mode to get it restored.

I have never since Jul of 07 (iDay) had my iPhone crash, need restoring or had troubles installing updates or connecting to iTunes. It was my first problem ever with the iPhone and it started with trying to uninstall/install AF when I was doing the memory leak test.

With all of that and since I sent you that email, I have not had the guts to re-install yet. So any ideas or guarantees would sure be appreciated right now.
