Last sentence. 'Nuff said lolI find it scary when people on the street aren't able to answer who their nation's chancellor/prime minister/president is... but people who don't instantly recognize a faux OS by merely looking at it? Uhm... yeah, wohooo, I guess...
I must be severely lacking in the humour department. But then again, I'm German...
I know some of them in person....hahahah that's funny. And it is true that some Apple fans are like that. As I've said before, Apple has the best marketing department of ANY company, they make the customer like and believe anything almost.

So... random people outside an Apple Store equals Apple fans? Also, no real Apple fans would be fooled by this.
What they should do next is put an iOS theme on the upcoming GS6 Edge+ and in the regular GS6 and show it as the new iPhone 6S+ and 6S. And let's see how much they "LOVE" the new more premium design over the old one. Then show their reaction after being told it's not an iPhone. Because you know, if it's not an iPhone, it's not an iPhone.
What a horrible comparison. What they did was nothing like you described.Seriously. It's like replacing the innards of a Ferrari with those of a VW Golf, and then laughing when people can't tell the difference.

I actually didn't take that as a bad thing for Apple fans. I think it says more about how nice Samsung got the hardware. Lets face it, if you took a note 4 around no one would believe it was the next iPhone plus.
The thing is that you can really put any spin you like on this, as it doesn't have a trace of credibility. It's catering towards the low end "humour", especially when you know that these things usually are cut to make it fit an agenda. Oh well, again - let them have their "fun"
(and for the pathetic morons: I'd say the same if it would be reversed, so don't waste your time with idiotic comments, thank you (no, actually, thank me ) ).
I'm not putting a spin on it, Samsung caught up with Apple in hardware and it makes sense that non techie consumers might think it was an unreleased iPhone.
