I was flying back from Jamaica on Sunday night in the SFO airport and I saw one. He was an old dude, and couldn't help but play with it. He was flicking the screen and anything. Wanted to talk to him, but I was afraid he was the CFO of Apple and would eat me alive. Anyone else see this guy in SFO around the US Airways baggage claim at 8:30ish?

I would basically bet my entire life savings that it was an apple phone. It had the apple logo on the back, he was flicking through contacts with his finger non-stop, and I even saw the front of it with all of the those cute colorful squares. I was surprised that he wasn't dressed in gucci, but he actually had an old dirty bag and luggage.

I am really surprised that so many doubt. Not like it matters, right? At this point, the only way anyone believe me is if there was someone else at the airport, and took a picture.... Oh, but then everyone would probably say it was photoshoped.
I believe it. I know for a fact that Apple people are using iPhones in public right now, so this is certainly within the realm of the possible.

Give me a break. I sat next to Danny Glover on a SOUTHWEST flight for crying out loud. Just because he makes $ 1 million a year, does not mean that he is flying around in a private jet. He would have to make at least $2 million

Danny Glover isn't the VP of a huge corporation.
Apple definitely has a corporate jet or two. And I'd find it rather surprising if Steve or anyone else at the top of the company set foot on a commercial jet as long as they're employed by Apple.
I wonder with the hype and buzz surrounding the iPhone that Apple would risk having them out in public with the risk of them being lost or outright stolen before officially being released. I understand the fact that they want to gain real world use, but I wonder what the ramifications would be should an iPhone turn up missing.
Don't worry. Each of the top-secret iPhone prototypes are coded to the prints on the Beta tester's fingers. If anybody but the Beta tester tries to hold it, big metal spikes come out and pierce through their hands.
