My watch will not be here until tomorrow but I received my adapters today and they look pretty good!

I chose these because most adapters have the goofy bars with the screws and they stick way out from the watch, these look closer to original and are a simpler setup like the Click! ones that will never make it to market.

They are the shiny stainless finish on the outside where you can see and brushed on the inside where they go into the watch, he included a little screwdriver thing which should make getting the pins in and out a lot easier and even included and extra pin in case you lose one! Very happy with this purchase for less than 18 bucks!

Thanks for the pics. I saw someone's post that they were happy with this (same seller) so ordered a pair last week, plus the screw based ones from him too. Mine adapters are due end of week thru USPS first class mail. Good to hear you are happy so far with it. Enjoy the watch tomorrow and look forward to your next photos on the fit. I've experienced Apple's boxing before but have to admit I was quite impressed anyway when I opened mine.

I got both sets from freedomoclock seller on ebay. Initially he had sent me the version above, and because i was expecting the regular apple version i emailed him and he sent a free replacement. I have since used the springbar version while awaiting more regular adapters for all the bands i have amassed. I have begun to like the springbar version more as it's lower profile. However i still don't trust it enough to use as a permanent adapter on any of my bands due to i don't trust the springbar strength. I am very very nervous about dropping my watch. Knowing that my adapter is screwed into my bands ensures piece of mind.

Shame really as the lower profile does look very nice on my watch.

I vouch for the seller. I purchased a band from him for my Apple Watch and it arrived with a bent adapter that protruded from the watch and somehow even undid itself. I emailed the seller and he immediately after I sent him photos, and without asking twice, he sent my blue band out and told me to keep the red one I ordered that had the problem with the adapters. Amazing seller and ships fast. Awesome CS too.
These are the two bands I got from him. I painted my new adapter black to match the space gray.

The vast majority of watches use springbars. If you don't trust these then replace them with ones from a jeweler. They're all standard.
Unless you used a thread locker the chances of your screw coming loose are probably higher than a spring bar failure.

The screws are trapped like you said but they can still rotate freely within the adapter and if they do unscrew your watch will fall off your wrist.

Absolutely correct. Apple uses a thread locker ( glue ) but the size of the threads are so small and fine that they can not be taken apart and a band changed on a regular basis. The adapters using springbars seems the best solution as springbars have been used for many ,many years without problems.

got my adapters today along with a 24mm hadley roma bracelet. i know its all personal preference so don't bash the band but i'm so happy with these adapters! i really like them so much better than the bar style. so now, i have my dress watch and can easily switch to my bsb and spigen case for the gym. and with my other bands/cases, i pretty much have a watch style for any situation. now i have more reason to not change the battery in my breitling for $450...other than it being $450!!

It does come in a rose gold, yellow gold and mixed gold/silver metal as well. Lots of other nice 24mm bands there in general. They have a Father's Day sale on orders over $50 for an extra 10% off (code father I believe). Picked up a silicon band and a buckle to make the minimum for the offer. The rice grain ones also come in 22mm but I think that is too wide for the 38mm watches with the lugs I've seen.

Can't wait to get mine and put it on. They were super fast on sending mine out, label made that day. And nice on the phone when I called with some questions. Free regular shipping but I paid an extra $5 for priority. I thought their website was very easy to navigate through and good photos of everything. I'll be ordering more from them in the future.

Awesome! And thanks for the discount code! I didn't think that anyone other than myself would like this band. I know its personal preference but I think its one of the best ones I've seen on my quest for bands. And I like the Hadley Roma stuff, seems to be decent quality for how inexpensive their bands are. I've been wearing it for about an hour and its much more comfortable than the Milanese and the Link Bracelet. The Milanese always left the skin on my wrist feeling raw so I sold it. The Link Bracelet looks great but I think I'm going to part with it too. Just seems too expensive for what it is.

And just an FYI - this band comes sized huge! I had to take out 3 links. It wasn't difficult but just make sure you punch out the pins in the direction of the arrows. Enjoy!
