I don't know why they have a US version and an International version but hey ho. £3.49 in the UK.

Maybe the international version says "Mega Drive" where the US one says "Genesis".

The controls are quite bad as well. Wasted 5.99$ I want my money back.

You know, no offence to you or anyone else who has ever whined "I want my money back" after purchasing a game, but it still sounds childish.

When will people understand that they are not paying for a game as it is now, but for the lifetime of a game's updates?

It's not good for you now? Okay, so wait a while. Chances are, it will be. If not, THEN whine.

Heh. No, I bought it at full price. My comment was about at what price I believe it would do more brisk business.

Reducing the price to $4 instead of $6 wouldn't make it do well.

To make $24, at $6 only 4 people need to buy the app. At $4, 6 people would need to buy the app.

Do you think 1/3rd of potential buyers would buy at $4 and refused to buy at $6? My point is most people won't pay for an app at all. Most people are $.99 only buyers. Anyone who would pay $4 for this would also pay $6.

Though you are right absolutely, of purchasers' psychological makeup, I'm sure you can understand that my point is broader. It's not about maximising profits, but providing incentives for even the buck buyers to bite.

However, it was a throwaway line that doesn't merit much back-and-forth. The points were made.

Are you kidding me? When I purchase a game from a major developer (SEGA) I expect something close to perfection. This thing feels like it was ported by 2 amateurs who had nothing better to do. Heck, at least in that case it would be free.

Welcome to the world of business. Bought an Audi some years back. Didn't like the way it drove, air conditioner broke down the first month, seemed plasticky compared to the BMW. I didn't get to trade it in. That's just the way life is.

Incidentally, my point is not that you're wrong. I sense you are probably right. But instead of whining about your money back, leave a scorchingly negative and ON POINT review on iTunes.

The reviews are 39 5-star, 6 1-star so far. People are clearly not as upset as you, but that's probably because they're easily satisfied, right?

I'm not upset. It's not even about the 5.99$, heck i spend more on breakfast everyday. My point is, Sega should not have released it. Sega makes something like Super monkey Ball which is a 3D game and runs smoothly with no issues. Then they port over a 15+ year old 2D game that runs choppy.. Makes no sense.

Genesis had a 7.67 MHz cpu
iPhone 400+ MHz cpu...

BTW even though the FPS is not that great it's still fun as hell. Looking forward to the update and more Sega Genesis releases.
