My point is you can't judge only on specs. Comfort of use, built quality, after sale service are important point too. And OS is also a major decision factor. And as good as 7 is, it's definitively behind macOS for my use.
Who cares if its zip file is compressed in 10s instead in 15s? Few people in the world but me not.
I like the beautiful object, with high assembly quality which are great to use. And MBP is one of the best laptop, even it has poorer specs on paper than some others. PC with crappy plastics, meaningless buttons everywhere are no more for me.

I speak only about my own experience and the Apple after sale service is the best I ever deal with for a technology product.
I don't know the Sony or Dell quality of service, but I hear it was quite good also. But speaking about sony, I can say Sony-Ericson is a piece of crap in this domain.
