Space gray sport owners , what other bands did you get

I love th look of your products, but they are WAY overpriced. Therefore, unfortunately I will not be buying any of your products.
Has anyone found a really good, Space Gray or black milanese band? All the ones I have in here have damaged easily and/or are called uncomfortable. I tried the official Apple band in-store today on my Space Gray watch, and it does look and feel really good, but I was hoping for something that would actually match.

I ordered the black alligator with space grey connector on Monday from your company on Amazon. Does it mean the one I have is still not color matched to the space grey color? I thought June production was already fixed.
Just got them yesterday. The color of the lugs are closer to black. I probably could've lived with that but the bottom strap seems too small for the lugs as you can see in the pic below and the lugs rattle when installed on the watch. I'm returning since I feel that metal against metal rattling will cause scratching or worse damage over time.

got my black nylon 2 piece zulu type strap from ebay. luckily, its a softer nylon unlike other brands that are stiff and scratch. looks good with my dark grey adapters. ill post up a pic tomorrow. got it and the adapters for under $30. sure beats the monowear setup for double the price.
So I ventured to the Grand Central Apple Store and got a Classic Buckle for my Space Grey Sport watch, which I was looking forward to, but after a few days wearing it, I am losing more and more interest in its aesthetic. To me, it now somewhat feels mismatched, even though when I show it to people and ask, they say that they wouldn't have noticed the difference in metal until I pointed it out. I'm thinking of exchanging it for the Navy Leather Loop.

FWIW, I completely understand and have felt the same way. We have a $400 watch, $550 if you include the cost of the new band, it should be "right" for that kind of money. As I've said in other posts my favorite bands at the moment are the Stone LL and the black sport because they look "right". I am hoping that the click adapters are a perfect match at which point I will add into the mix a Skagen mesh, a leader band and a link band. Its not about what other people think, its about what feels right to us. My Rado band is not mismatched, its perfect!

Oh I like this. Too bad it won't ship until July 30th and I'm assuming the design will change a bit to meet "made for apple watch" standards.
I like Poetic bands also and would purchase if it shipped free (Prime).
So the SG (particularly the 42mm) is by a wide margin the best selling model of the entire lineup. Yet out of tens of available bands approx. 2 match reasonably: the black sport and the black leather loop (IMO).
How long till apple or anyone else fixes this glaring discrepancy?

Where did you get your statistics from? From what Ive read, the SG make up less than 10% of sales.
Also the SG with blue leather loop, blue, brown modern buckles are some very good combo that i can think of.
I bought a black two piece Zulu strap and grey adapters. The strap was $15 and the adapters were $12. Sure beats the monowear one which is the same setup except they want $65 for it.
