Hey guys,

It’s finally here! Our smart and fast email client Spark adds full support for Microsoft Exchange Services (EWS)!

Microsoft Exchange powers work email accounts for millions of people in the world. Starting today, Spark supports Exchange Web Services (EWS). This means that you can connect your Exchange accounts right now and use Spark for all your emails.

Please note, that EWS protocol is available since the release of Microsoft Exchange SP1.

We are working on the iPad version and will release it soon. The next step will be creating the best email client for Mac.

Stay tuned ;)

best regards,
Readdle Team

I can't wait for the iPad update. I sure hope that it also supports Slide Over / Split View support and maybe even Picture in Picture if you open a video attachment.

No exchange 2007 support? We're moving to 365 but still using 2007.

The OP meant to offer that the updated app provides support for Microsoft Exchange 2007 SP1 and later versions. It's on their web site - I checked.

There is quite a difference between 2007 and 2007 SP1 though. Apps supporting 2007 SP1 and higher generally do not work with lower versions such as 2007.

Thanks, I'm aware of that. I wasn't offering a rebuttal to you, rather, a clarification of what was posted in the OP and what's on Readdle's web site; the OP left out a bit of information. I used/licensed 2007/SP1 and only recently moved to Server 2016 - although I'm keeping 2007 SP1 running in parallel just in case, largely due to being left out of too many "features" or apps.

I know, but there are still pre-SP1 users of Exchange 2007. Since that version does not support EWS they need to update to SP1. In case of haxrnick I'm not sure if IT will want to spent time on Exchange 2007 when they are migrating to Office 365. Seems that he needs to wait for the migration to be finished.

Spark for iPad is coming soon! And yes, with iPad Pro and Split View support:)

Have a nice weekend,

Hi guys,

Unfortunately we can't provide Exchange 2007 support at the moment.

Enjoy your weekend,

OP, I checked out the video and Spark looks pretty nice and efficient. I read up about it on your website. I'm wondering about the relevant revenue stream - I own a few of your company's paid apps, but I've never used a "free" app for email except for Gmail (which I use only for junk, and I use their Inbox/Gmail apps for it). I've read too many privacy policies behind the "free" email apps, which leads me to not even bother. Is there going to be a paid version of Spark? I prefer paid versions of my apps, and pay to remove ads and the like when given the opportunity - and I use Office 365 - I'm hesitating with Spark because IMHO your company isn't clear about its privacy and revenue going forward. If there isn't a paid version and more-clear TOS, I'll pass on Spark and keep using your company's other apps.

How to read emails in a threaded view?

Say I replied to some email, he replies back.

I don't see my reply while viewing the email thread

Edit: Can see threaded now, somehow it wasn't showing previously (may me my mistake)

Cool, I will have to try it again.. It would be nice if i could use Chrome for links as well.. Potential future update?

Hey,

This feature will be added soon, maybe in the nearest update:) Hope you'll enjoy it.

Oh it's for free. Thank you! :)
Two of my only eight non-stock apps are already from you. Maybe it's soon three out of seven, if your's is better than the one I already use.
I did not find any good email client in the app store and have to use a beta app that has been announced several months ago. I like it and have no issues, but you have a good chance because on a small display your's looks much better. ;)
But on my Macs that one has to stay if you release also one for Mac, sorry. :(

Sounds interesting. I like to test new versions/apps. Nearly all my Mac apps are beta versions. But I have no iPad and at the moment I am not good in giving feedbacks and also use the iPhone very rarely. So I don't want to take someones place, if those versions are limited.

Thanks for the reply, and I'll check Spark out sometime soon. As for your "upsell", I put in my 3rd sentence that I already own some of your paid apps - 5 of them...

I have gmail and hotmail set up but gmail won't show new emails unless the app is open. I don't see a sync interval setting anywhere. Does the app allow push for gmail or is it a manual sync?

How can I use the early access version of the iPad app? I love the iPhone version and need to use another app for my iPad.
