Just received my Spigen Tough Armor case for my SS BSB. I wanted this case when I do extra curricular activities such as cycling, snowboarding, football, basketball, etc. I will not be using this everyday. Anyhow, it turns the Apple watch into a faux G-Shock now :p.

It's very well made and not too bulky. I like it because it makes my SS more sportier and hides the shininess now. It comes with a screen cover so the only exposed parts are the buttons and the sensors (of course). I like the gunmetal look too. If you're wondering about the responsiveness of the touch screen, you lose a little responsiveness but it's not too bad.

The case itself is still plastic, but it just has the look of metal, correct? Just wondering how long that paint coating will last.

Yes it has the look of metal but it's not coated with paint. The plastic is gunmetal color so it will not fade or chip away (if that's what you're thinking it will do over time).

Nice, I rather like it!

As soon as these things go mainstream in Amazon Prime (aka 2-day delivery), I'll probably grab a few of these to change it up. I just picked up the Spigen White Snap-On and it looks hot with my white Sports Band - everyone noticed it on my wrist a lot more.

Orange

I got my orange one today. Put some shots that might be of interest.

- The build in screen shield feels like hard plastic.

- The inside of where the metal looking button resides is covered so only rubber is contacting the watch.

- the plastic face part goes on after you slide in the watch through the rubber piece.

I'm very pleased with this purchase and would be nice to use it when I'm snowboarding or mountain biking. I specifically got it in orange to discourage me from wearing it day to day lol.

I'm hoping to get my watch this week!

Cool glad to see that at least some of the orange ones shipped earlier than estimated. I have on on order so hoping it gets here soon the orange looks good.

Is it hard to use the digital crown with this on? I ordered one of these to go with my watch. (Which I hope to receive one day :-( )

Yea I bought it from Amazon on May 7th and it shipped the same day even though it had "in stock May 11th" on the page.

It can be a little obtrusive but you adapt. My finger hits the top part of the case where the crown is located. However, it's not too bad.

How does the face attach to the case? From the pictures it looks like it adheres to the screen? I want to get one for cycling/skiing but want to be able to take it on and off regularly...if it relies on sticking to the screen I imagine that would wear out over time?

Main reason I want one is because of workouts. I usually play ball 4 times a week. Not sure if I will wear the watch or not. I want to because I would like to see what I actually burn playing. I wear a fitbit right now that tells me the steps but the watch seems a little bulky.

It has 4 clamps that strap onto the top of the rubber part. There's no sticking to the screen. You can take it on and off.

Yep, know that....I own this case also.

There are two protective stickers on the screen protector, they are there to protect until installation.

The inner one seems to still be attached, I can see the dots the inner sticker has.

----------

Actually, on closer inspection, it seems you have left the outer one on also....trimming the tab off used to remove it.

This is my prolly my only gripe with this case because you gotta make sure it's clamped and secure. If not, it will pop off while you're using which it has unbeknownst to me. Luckily, someone informed me that I dropped something.
