WOW, you had me worried there, you think you could have actually installed the ipad into the case instead of just laying it over the iapd. I thought the camera and holes didn't line up.

EDIT: NVM, I see now that the "ipad" in your pics is just the paper insert it comes with.

Do you have a spigen tough armour case that you can compare the rubber too? I have one for my 5s so I will be able to compare. the rubber is semi hard on the original I have.

I don't have my ipad here. It's the cardboard cutout that has a picture of a camera lens.

The rubber is a bid harder, but a so so simulation of the real Spigen rubber. It's bit more slick, cheaper feeling.

ha, you see my EDIT: in the above post?

what we need, and probably won't get, is someone with an authentic mini tough armour to compare with the knockoff.

Hey ROCKO, did you get the ipad wedged into that case? how does it fit? pictures?

I did. It fits very nice. My only gripe are the materials feel like a lower grade than the other real Spigen cases I have, but it's a fake and it was $10, so for that, it's a good case.

The back plastic is very slippery and retains oil and fingerprints. But the buttons, speaker openings, lens opening are all very good.

Wow from the pictures that looks genuine Spigen.

That sounds like the description of the slim armor on my iPhone 5 when I got it. The slick feeling wore off in time.

Pisses me off, I ordered a rmini and an air case before Rocko and when I check the tracking it shows shipped on jan 20th and that's the last record. Doesn't show its in Canada yet.

Here you go. I like the case, but the edges feel a bit harsh in my hands. It's the harder, lower quality rubber. Still, for $10, it's not bad at all. FYI case weights 5.1oz or 145g.

When I got my tough case for 5s I thought it was harsh to hold. i'm use to magpul cases. I assume this will feel the same. My tracking # just got updated. Ordered jan 20th. Left china today, the 4th! B another two weeks for sure.

Mine was processed in Chicago today...going to the Detroit area. Might have it by the end of he week.

I got mine in today too. Pictures forthcoming. I have a legit Spigen on my phone, and the inner rubber feels perfect. The outside though is just plastic. Also, the cutout for the Apple logo is a bit offset, but I didn't want one in the first place.

That said, overall, it feels perfectly durable and should protect the iPad just fine. In fact, this is probably still the best case you can get for <$10 shipped.

I dropped the word "cheap". What I meant is that it seems to be a lesser plastic. I do believe it's possible that these were real molds that were discarded.

It's cheap. It feels like a extremely low grade plastic. It kinda ruins the entire feel of the case.

I highly doubt it's a mold from Spigen. The inside corners of the rubber are nothing like the real tough armor for the mini. There is no air cushion.

Maybe yours is different from mine, but compared to my iPhone case, it looks like the air cushion is there. It just seems too small for the size of the iPad Air, which may be why Spigen decided to not make a model for the Air.

Again, what do you expect for <$10? It's probably the best case available at the price range. There's nothing to ruin. It's cheap as sin.

Got mine today not the best but it is in the case style I wanted I bought 3 there all a little off in different places but I'm happy with it

Like I said, not a bad case for $10, but it's in no way a real Spigen. The difference in material quality is pretty substantial.

I ditched it after 2 days and went back to my Casecrown folio style. I think I will sell mine for cheap.

I never said it was a real Spigen, it most definitely is not. I just said it's perfectly possible it came from real Spigen molds, especially if Spigen decided to abandon their Air case due to the cushion size flaws.

Ugly case, didnt even bother to put it in right after i saw the very bad quality! Doesnt fit right!

Got mine in black for the Air, fits perfectly. Love the style, think I'll order some other colors.

Those of you who are having bad experiences, I guess the quality control and variability must be to blame.

I have a spigen slim armor S to compare to and it does so quite favorably. Don't think I'd mistake it for the original material, but for $10, haven't seen a better case.

Got my two I ordered today black and gold one (for wife) I'm happy, edges were a little rough but used a fine piece of sandpaper to remove the extra rubber from the mold, now smooth like my Tough Armor iphone case, Hey for $10 bucks each I can't complain!

got my air and mini cases today. Air case was pretty good, rough around the edges compared to my authentic spigen iphone case but that's OK. The apple cutout on the back isn't lined up perfectly.

The mini case is not good as far as im concerned. All cutouts are just off, headphone jack, mic on back, apple logo etc. The case is super tight, so much that it doesn't really fit right. Seems to want to pull back along the edge front. And the back plastic has a scratch on it.
