The writing on top of the base is annoying and I agree they should have put it on the bottom of the base. At the moment I have my based covered over with a micro fibre cloth Incase the watch falls over. I am in two minds about returning it but there are no they stands currently available here in the UK and as it was only £15 I might keep it for now until something better is available. The problem with most if not all of the other stands is that they ship from the U.S. Which means excessive shipping costs as well as the likely hood of customs charges. I think I might still send them a complaint though to voice my disappointment.

Relax. I don't see the big deal with some tiny text at the base of the stand. It's one of the cheapest stands available, it's shipping now, and matches the Thunderbolt/iMac stands perfectly.

Stand looks good. Does the watch sit without the charger connected. I wanted a stand where I could leave the watch in both scenarios - With and Without a charger?

It does not keep the watch in place without the magnetism of the charger, it will just hang on the stand without, obviously, but not in presentation position.

I have used this to stand out for four days, it works really well.... I see no reason to buy anything else, I don't care about hidden cables etc. etc. as it's a travel stand for me.

it was also falsely advertised.... their site and amazon showed numerous pictures and NONE of those had any ugly writing on them.

BOO to spigen for (1) bait and switch and (2) false advertising!

Absolute rubbish. I suggest you don't tell others to relax. It's a valid complaint not to mention the images online don't even show it. Price is irrelevant and has nothing to do with it. It looks tacky. There is no getting around that.

Now I'm confused. My stand has the printed text but the one the OP posted a picture of in the following thread does not.

The only thing I can think of is it varies depending on which country you ordered in.

I'm still waiting for my Spigen Stand to arrive, but I think that the stands with writing on them were probably the first run models of the stand. Spigen probably saw the screw up and changed it so that the writing is on the bottom (where it should be).

Mine should be here in the next couple days, may'be I'll get lucky and get one without the writing. If not I'll live.

Mines arrived this morning and it's going straight back as I'm not prepared to have that crappy writing on it.

I ordered direct from Spigen if that helps.

This is flat out deceptive by them because it's not even on their product pictures. For something being sold mainly for aesthetics this text sticks out like a sore thumb.
Totally agree! I've had stuff like that happen before where the thing I actually got looked nothing like the images, but thankfully Amazon have a zero tolerance policy for anything even remotely misleading like that. Lucky for me, I've already ordered my charger from elsewhere, so thankfully I'll be fine, but I very nearly ordered one of these exact same spigen ones for my sister, and I didn't notice all the company advertising plastered all over it until I saw these! So thanks to the original poster for uploading images of the actual thing. -You've just saved me a whole tonne of embarrassment!

I wonder why everybody that contacts them gets a different answer :s. I got the following, saying they're revising the pictures, not the stand!

We are sorry about that. We have already sent a report to our manufacturor and they will revise the pictures in order not to confuse the customers. We have already dispatched your stand on 07/05/2015 if it remains in brand new conditions and comes with the original package we will be happy to receive it back for the refund.

Just got the same message. Probably going to go with the £5 off, it's not that noticeable unless you're only a couple of feet away and can't be bothered with the hassle of returning it.

I went with the £5 off. I don't care that much about it being on there

Just received mine. Ordered it on Amazon (fufilled by Spigen). No text is visible on the base. I'm actually rather happy with it for the price.

My stand arrived from Amazon. It does NOT have the writing on top. It has it on the bottom.

I think the build quality and look is exceptional.
