where are the Chinese sport loop knock offs? $50 is hard to swallow.

Usually it takes 3 to 4 months for third-party bands to start making its way to the market. But eBay will be the first when you start seeing them arrive. I remember when the third party Sport bands first launched, it was almost three or four months before there were a large amount of them available.

I wonder if they are Velcro? The Apple Sport Loops uses a different kind of fastener...it's really neat up close.

Do these third-party bands just slip on, as Apple bands do, or do you need some kind of adapter?

I have a hard time justifying $50 for the official bands as much I would like to get one.

You're not alone. Always makes me wonder when people happily shell out for Apple's official accessories. I don't fully believe you have the 'you pay for quality' argument on your side, either.

I ordered a Seashell band from the eBay link that was posted. Once I get it in (may take over a month) I'll take some photos and upload them here.

Ordered a midnight blue. I already have the seashell, black sport look and Nike Crimson sport loop from Apple and love them. I'm hoping these are not complete junk...

Dang, I just ordered volt and orange ones off AliExpress the other day cause that was the first place I saw them. At least they were on sale, like $9/band.
