Don't forget that in addition to Electric Blue being a clone of the bolded colour, Sea Blue still has the original-design oval shaped buckle, before in 2017, they moved to the round, square buckle.

No matter how much I try to persuade myself to change my mind or force myself to like it, I will never concede that the square buckle is better than the oval buckle - its worse. People that have tiny wrists, it looks vastly out of proportion and prominent.

So if you have a 3rd Gen Classic Buckle (from 2016), congratulations, you have that watch band when it was in its prime. Hang on to it for as long as you can.

Also, why did they discontinue the Midnight Blue Classic Buckle? There was no note of this being a limited time colour and now its been pulled from sale for good

I have two Midnight Blue Classic Buckles from 2016 and could not agree with you more. It's the best looking classic buckle, initially limited to the gold Editions!

Midnight Blue Classic Buckle is one of the most classy looking colours for this strap type. I managed to get one from the current 4th generation, that exact one existed for less than a year before getting discontinued. I'm very happy with it.

Certainly a unique look, but the wrong thread. This one is about OEM Apple Classic Buckle bands.

That being said, a nice green Classic Buckle is way overdue …

I’m quite ambivalent about the electric blue. I really like the colour on my iPhone X and Apple Pencil, it’s very close to BMW’s Estoril Blue. But having just tried it at the store today, the colour feels a bit off on the wrist.
