SR MBP /w no issues thread

2.4 GHz 15" MBP - No issues.

- No yellowish tint (after ditching the wretched default colour profile)
- No stuck/dead pixels
- No kernel panics (so far)
- No cosmetic blemishes

Thus far, I'm extremely happy with my first Mac! ^^
 
Hijack alert :D

I just wish to plug my thread about the sound problems. Is anybody experiencing problems with the analogue sound output?
 
No problems at all.

Unless you count the Mighty Mouse being a bit too slow even with tracking speeds at their highest, but I don't think that's an issue with my MBP.

I have a slight yellow tint in Mac OS but that problem is gone when I'm in Vista. It's not really bothering though.

OH - Actually, one second thought, my headphone jack is VERY noisy between sounds and during soft passages.

Which is a bummer but something I've come to get used to with mediocre sound cards. My old desktop did the same thing at a much worse level (Turtle Beach)

What did you use to calibrate the screen?

Mine costs $350.

Three times as silly I suppose. But people who do not bother to calibrate their screens really have no place to comment and/or rant about their screens. They just do not care enough.
 
I have a stock 2.2Ghz machine here, and after about 4 hours of using it, I've yet to notice a single problem. Screen is beautiful, no strong colour tinting at all. I feel so happy and lucky that not only did the shipping from china go off without a hitch, it arrived in 4 days using free ship and the machine itself is outstanding in every regard.

It's been an experience, for sure.
