So everything is running great with my Mac mini, couldn't be happier. So my dad has this exact model and I went to his house yesterday and its running so incredibly slow. He has the base model of 4gb of ram and the 500gb spinning hard drive. He is now willing to upgrade it. I know what to get him for an SSD, but I don't know much about which Ram to get. 8gb of RAM should be plenty for him. Does anyone have any recommendations on which one I should buy?

Thanks

I usually just buy Crucial from Crucial unless there's a price discrepancy where another site is noticeably cheaper. This is a reflex action on my part - I can't tell you if there's a human-noticeable difference between major RAM brands.
