iPad Pro Stage Manager not Working with other Apps ?

On my M1 with recent apps hidden, Notes in the recent apps, and just Safari open…
1. When I drag to show the Recent Apps, they stay visible until I tap (not drag) anywhere on the screen.
2. I can drag Notes from the Recent Apps list to make a Safari + Notes group.
3. Tapping on the three dots to access “Add Another Window” will hide the Recent Apps list.

So what is the point that you are trying to make here ? Repeating the same thing again as you made in your first post

How about a soft reset? If that doesn’t help then just report the bug to Apple and hope they look to fix it at some point. There’s nothing much can be done in this case.

Yes got in touch with Apple Tech Support they suggested Reset All Settings. Seems to be have done the trick but they have said please observe and monitor the behaviour for some days and then decide if it has indeed helped. Prima Facie now the APP list does seem to stick around.

Unlike some others here who were just misleading and beating around the Bush !! If someone cannot help, they should stop taking people on ride. God knows what all I have heard in the name of helping others.
