I'm not either lol. 🙂Not sure what you saying - Disney canon has now existed for 11 years now (since April 2014), all adult novels published since then are canon.

Was Shia LaBeouf entering his implosion chapter?
The damage has been done, but I am glad that Filoni is in the big chair.
I'm happy a true fan of the Franchise is now running the show. He's not perfect but I think its a huge improvement over Kennedy. She should been shown the door right after the Last Jedi. The damage has been done, but I am glad that Filoni is in the big chair.
Andor was a salvation of sorts from the typical lack of vision, lack of creativeness pushed by the “$$$retread$$$” crowd in charge. I will watch it again. It’s that good.I'm happy a true fan of the Franchise is now running the show. He's not perfect but I think its a huge improvement over Kennedy. Rumors were swirling that the he largely was against (or didn't like) the successful Andor series. The show had a very un-star wars vibe in one sense, but was very much a great star wars story being told.
Andor was excellent. Was a little slow to begin with but the character building was worth it in the end.Andor was a salvation of sorts from the typical lack of vision, lack of creativeness pushed by the “$$$retread$$$” crowd in charge. I will watch it again. It’s that good.
I approached this story with hesitation as just more SW bait to make Disney more $$$. But I knew Andor from Roque One which was solid. The episode where Andor meets Luthan Rael sold me on the series and this story was not predictable, surprised when he landed in prison for several episodes and such good acting, nod to all of the major actors to include Andy Serkis.Andor was excellent. Agreed. The Skeleton crew was probably the worst show I’ve ever seen in the SW franchise.I approached this story with hesitation as just more SW bait to make Disney more $$$. For me that award hands down goes to:Agreed. The Skeleton crew was probably the worst show I’ve ever seen in the SW franchise.
I strongly agree with this.I'm happy a true fan of the Franchise is now running the show. He's not perfect but I think its a huge improvement over Kennedy. She should been shown the door right after the Last Jedi.
I hadn't heard that (re Andor), but on balance I think Filoni is the best person to take over the franchise.Rumors were swirling that the he largely was against (or didn't like) the successful Andor series. I think Skeleton Crew was aimed at children. I stopped watching after the first episode. For me that award hands down goes to:
“The Acolyte”.
It was meant for kids for sure. But I’m a sucker and watched it all.I think Skeleton Crew was aimed at children. I stopped watching after the first episode.
I liked Acolyte. For sure, it generates extraordinary levels of hate from YouTubers that use hate to get views, but if you watched the show and judged it on its merits (not their videos), I thought it was okay.
I did watch it. That was enough for me. We can agree to disagree on its "merits". I agree firmly with youtube on this one - not worth 230 million spent on its 8 episodes. I would have rather seen that investment go to additional seasons of The Mandalorian or Andor.I think Skeleton Crew was aimed at children. I stopped watching after the first episode.

There was so much wrong with this. There was a reason why there were so many YTers hating it.I liked Acolyte. Yup. I’ll be watching at home when it’s on Disney+. My cinema days are behind me.Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is coming out this weekend.
So far rotten tomatoes has a rather poor review ranking

From what I gathered, it has to make about 450 to 500 million to make a profit. The biggest criticisms against the movie by the reviewers seems to be that its just an elongated show, that is, its no different then what we had on disney+. I also think the last season was rather poor, so that may not help them.
I don't think its going to be a bad movie, but I don't think its an epic, big screen event that you'll want to spend 20 dollars a ticket, when you know it will be on disney+ before the end of the summer.
I was pumped to see a Mandalorian movie but I wanted it to be more focused on The Mandalorian as a culture, as a people - like rebuilding Mandalore and Navarro, not just Din Jarin and Grogu and their journeys, deflecting blasters with their beskar and blowing up Imperial remnants and fighting the Huttahs. I would rather have seen a seaon 4 of Din and Grogu doing that vs a movie about that story arc. I know that is kind nerdy & maybe a bit too deep of a dive for the average StarWars fan let alone how would you ever sell enough movie tickets to be profitable, but I cant help that, Mandalorians are awesome and totally worth a deeper dive just like the Wookies. I mean it would have been flippin Awesome to see a brigade of Mandalorians completely wipe a legion or two of Imperial storm trooper cores out in some retributive justice.Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is coming out this weekend.

I read those as well by Timothy Zahn if memory serves me. There was a whole bunch of books that started immediately after Return of the Jedi that were really good. They were considered "canon" till the new and horrible movies came out. They would have been wise to just adapt those books into movies instead of try and produce the slop they did.I remember reading the Thrawn novels ages ago, they were a good story and would have made a better sequel trilogy than the one that we got.

What are you talking about? Was Shia LaBeouf entering his implosion chapter? I can't remember. 7-9 was so awful it was hard to focus on cast directions and be upset about it. You first have to be vested in the story to care.
