Starcraft 2 hardcore gamers read!!!

Skype was recently acquired by MS and it's already started to get more bloated.
Soon it will be like MS Live Messenger (MSN) with tons of commercial and popups. Skype works well talking to 2 maybe 3 ppl, but vent and ts works great talking to 100 people the same time.
 
Once i Install Starcraft 2 from cd - do i still need the cd everytime i play?

I've been on a Vent server with over 1000 people on it and a TS server with over 1500 in one room alone and they both handled it well.

You're correct with Skype being 'ok' for 2 people or so.

The difference is that the applications were made for very different things, Vent and TS were designed with gaming in mind, Skype wasn't and won't ever be.

It's like saying FaceTime is better for comms than Vent/TS lol.

I haven't seen a shop that accepts PC game returns for years, especially once they've been opened.
 
Can someone please explain to me what vent and TS is? And where to get them
