Isn't full price for PC games $49.99? I think only MW2 came out at $60 and that game in general got a lot of flame from PC gamers for that increased price and the lack of dedicated servers. Anyways, I was a huge fan of SC1 but I think it's been way too long and I've gotten way too old to really play SC2 hardcore. You never know though..

I'm in the beta and the game is great, too bad there is only multiplayer atm, since I havent played SC1 for like 8 years and people are pissing on me in the beta :p

I've only played about 10-12 games so far so I guess when I have more time i'll start whopping some ass too.

finally got my beta key, from a kind person. unlike someone that was selling it for $25 on this thread...

I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition, (Thor pet, you are mine!) and am very curious to try out SC. I played the original... loved it, however the horrible mid-90's graphics turned me off... but this game looks freakin' gorgeous, and i cant wait to Zerg rush my buddies into the night, haha! July is a loooong way away, but patience is a virtue... A virtue that I don't need.

Maybe I'll buy it. I have tried the beta in Vista bootcamp and yesterday in OS X.
I must say that the windows versions runs a lot smoother with exactly the same settings. But I guess they'll fix that...

As for interest in the game itself, the only RTS games that I really ever finished are Red Alert (the first one) and Warcraft 2. I'm still playing Warcraft 3. I tried the C&C 3 demo and found the game boring (the cutscenes are as tacky as can be) ; Red Alert 3 seemed to have lost the 'magic'.

I have played the first Starcraft in the past (in my PC days). I quite like it, but somehow never finished it.

So SC2 is still a maybe, but leaning more towards "likely to play" category...
