Sorry about your issues but if something isn't working for you get rid of it. No need to stress yourself. At the end of the day thats what it's about....buying tools that work for/with you.
Exactly! If the MBP isn't working out, get rid of it, and get something that does. Life is too short to spend it banging your head against the wall with a tool that doesn't perform the way you need or expect it to. Which OS is better? Neither! It's simply a matter of preference. Find a machine that works for you, and stick with it.
