iphones and iPads can play more games than Macs.I like Macs to be super nice and clean and optimized for productivity.
Steam said my MacBookPro M1 wasn't up to the task for 1/2 the games I tried to play. (I've tried 2 so far)Epic Games has some Borderlands games that still work, as does Steam, but your best bet is probably something like Parallels or Crossover (using Steam to launch games within). I've also had luck with PortingKit in the past, which is free.
Title pretty much says it all: can we play PC games on M1/M2 Macs?
The history of playing PC games on Macs is long and rather complex with emulators and bootcamping, but how is it today?
Don’t want to 🤷
I play AAA games on PC and consoles.

I've just decided to stick with the Mac for literally all my computing needs and now I just game on my PS5. Makes life easier.this. while I do play AAA games on my maxxxed out 2019 i9 macbook pro, I think the winning strategy is to get a Macbook Air and buy a loaded PC desktop or laptop for games.

This. I got a PC from iBuyPower (the only way to get my hands on a graphics card at the time) with a 3060Ti, and an M1 MBA. Great combo...this. while I do play AAA games on my maxxxed out 2019 i9 macbook pro, I think the winning strategy is to get a Macbook Air and buy a loaded PC desktop or laptop for games.
Windows VMs are still a thing. Boot Camp is indeed bye bye, though. Is this post serious? I thought eveyone knew bootcamp and window VM's were done when the M1 was introduced.
Are they, are they as easy as they were before. Just install parallels and install a new windows VM? If not then it's not a thing.Windows VMs are still a thing.
Yes. It's incredibly easy. You click a button and Parallels automatically downloads and installs Windows 11.Are they, are they as easy as they were before. Just install parallels and install a new windows VM? If not then it's not a thing.
Really I thought there was more to it then that. MS said the arm version of windows was only for them or OEM's and won't license it out etc.Yes. It's incredibly easy. You click a button and Parallels automatically downloads and installs Windows 11.
