It's time for him to be replaced.
The Mobile Me launch was botched.
Macbook Pro's and iMac have quality issues (screens). They can't seem to get a consistent upgrade cycle since the last few years are plagued by going passed their normal upgrade cycles (iMac's are still way overdue for an update).
iPhone 4 was clearly rushed. And Apple is taking lots of heat for it.
iPhone 4 White now delayed for stupid reasons. Can't get white paint on the product? Please. Apple has been making white products for years. Lame excuse. Just say you are fixing the antenna issue (or have fixed it) and that's why you aren't releasing until fall. Hard to believe this would be an issue since Apple are supposedly "testing" their phones before release. Why is black paint easier than why paint? Lame.
There's clearly an issue with iPhone 4. Steve basically said there's an issue without making it an issue. Why? Because he said he wanted to be sure to identify the problem instead of doing a band-aid fix.
iPad can't seem to get iOS 4 until NOVEMBER for some strange reason. Not to mention iPad STILL has yet to launch in other countries.
Numberous sourcing issues from iPad screens from LG to i5 chips that should be in 2010 Macs by now.
MobileMe still has problems and frequently suffers outtages.
Looking at Apple PR's executive page, a company this large would seemingly have way more executives helping to run the company. I think at this point, Steve is in over his head.
There's more, but I'm getting worked up.
