What crack is the OP smoking?

This decade belongs to Apple. Mostly thanks to Steve.

I suppose their record-breaking quarters are a signal that there is something wrong?? LOL

Point the finger at Microjunk. Now THERE is a company with problems.

Yeah, OP, you're smokin' some bad crack. Just cause there was a few problems with the iPhone 4, you think SJ should be replaced? Pfft.. C'mon!

Yup, Steve Jobs can't handle it. He can't handle coding OS X 10.7, iOS 4.1 for iPhone, iOS 4 for iPad, and designing all of the new hardware all at once.

Oh wait.. Apple is a corporation, and Jobs is just one of the employees. They have thousands of people working on all of these things. You can hardly blame him.

That said, I still think it's time for him to retire. Some of his ideas are from the past and Apple needs to move on to someone new and young.

Don't forget that if not for SJ coming back to Apple, it is highly likely that the only Apple gear you would be buying today would be from eBay. So cut the guy a slack.

It's Steve Jobs fault that LG can't keep up with the demand for the iPad? It's Steve Jobs fault that there was a significant shortage of Core iX chips..?

While I don't agree with a lot of Apple's ways, such as glossy only stuff (e.g. 24" ACD, iMacs, 13" laptops), I don't discredit Steve Jobs as a CEO and how well he makes Apple perform.

Exactly. Some people are just clueless

Looking back, I think the switch to glossy display leads people to get used to the touchscreen which needs to be glossy.

And you're worried about Apple?

Microsoft's performance under this fool:

http://www.zdnet.com/blog/btl/chart-microsofts-performance-under-gates-vs-ballmer/35415

Just keep milking Windows and Office. The two most tired and worn out paradigms in tech: a desktop OS and an Office suite. No wonder MS is the joke of the industry.

Ballmer can't carry Jobs' flip-flops. The ones with the torn straps. That he threw out five years ago.
