I think TXCraig has it spot on. I though Steve appeared much better in this keynote video than in the Summer, but I thought he lacked enthusiasm for what he was selling and didn't seem to have as much energy.

But, I hate all this speculation about his health. I wish people, investors or not, would just leave well alone.

I had a parasite about 3 years ago that caused me to lose about 25 lbs (I'm normally 150, so that's almost 20 percent of my normal body weight). I looked gaunt and pale, etc., even though I was otherwise healthy. After about a month, the terrible diarrhea and cramping, etc. died down, but it still took me more than 6 months to get my weight back. Could be something like that. I bet he's fine.

He brought it on himself and it will be apple down fall. He made himself the face of apple and makes it seem like to the rest of the world it is only him. He needs to step down before his heath forces him to. For a force retirement of 6' under. Both those will be a lot worse than him just saying bye at a macworld.

But it is SJ fault for investors doing that. Everyone thinks apple is run by him and with out him it is in trouble and it was SJ that made that image.

Then why do you participate in these threads? The health of any leader, whether of a company or country, is important to lots of people. Saying "leave well enough alone" is just ignoring a potential big problem and pretending nothing is wrong. You may like living in a fantasy world, but, many of us prefer to live in the real world.

Problem is that this is just speculation really. You have no real proof there is anything wrong at this point.

Considering there are no facts, there is no "potential big problem". Since that doesn't exist either, it is not the real world. That's my take on it anyway.

I prefer to live in a world where privacy is paramount, regardless of your position. Some people seem to misunderstand the rights we have as individuals.

So the photos of Steve looking like a skeleton should just be ignored and discounted as some proof that something's not right? There are plenty of facts out there about Steve's health problems. Some are probably being kept secret, in which case, how do you know there is nothing wrong and no potential big problem? Because there's far more evidence to the contrary, which is why there is so much speculation about it.

Sorry, but, that is just completely unrealistic and a fantasy world that doesn't exist. Privacy? Individual rights? That is SOOO last Millennium.

I don't know anything but what they have released to the public, and that's the reality. I'm not the one claiming the speculation is the "real world". I will agree he is a bit thin, but then again, so am I.
