This has been fixed in iOS 17.1 released today (iPadOS 17.1 also). I'm ASSUMING it will also be fixed on the MacOS 14.1 (installing now).

Update: Just tied again on my Mac - and now stickers are sort of working (MacOS 14.1) 😀

I added some custom stickers (from photos) and they work OK, but when I scroll down to some custom stickers I had before today's update, the sticker tray closes unexpectedly (like when it was broken earlier)

Maybe I just need to delete the older custom stickers I created in the first few days of iOS 17.

Update: From my iPhone 15 (on iOS 17.1) - deleted the stickers that I created on my iPhone 14 during the first few days of iOS 17.0). Now stickers are working everywhere (iPhone, iPad, Mac) as expected. 😁

I can’t make stickers anymore. I used to be able to and now when I click on a picture that’s all I can do is click on the picture. No next button. Anyone else. iOS 17.1

I just found this thread. Having the same issue - can't create stickers from photos on my 15 PM. I can create them on my iPad Mini but they don't sync with my 15 PM.

As shown in the video below, I can get all the way to the final step but the stickers don't save, they just vanish.

This is exactly what I have. Worked fine on my iPhone 12 mini, but after upgrading to iPhone 15 I have this exact same behaviour. Seems to mainly be affecting users who have upgraded phones since iOS 17 release. Strangely my wife upgrade from an 11 to 15 and doesn’t have the issue. 🤷 There doesn’t seem to be a self-fix that works consistently yet so hopefully Apple are working on it…

Is anyone still experiencing this issue? Every update on iOS 17 I check and it’s still borked. The only thing remaining for me is to sign out of iCloud and back in again but I’m not looking forward to having to add all my wallet cards back in :(
